Stock movements track how inventory changes over time. Every time stock is added, removed, adjusted, or transferred, it's recorded as a movement for audit purposes.

Tips for Stock Movements

  • Always add a reason: Document why stock changed for future reference and auditing.
  • Record promptly: Enter movements as they happen to keep inventory accurate.
  • Use adjustments for counts: After physical inventory counts, use adjustments to correct discrepancies.
  • Review regularly: Check movement history for patterns like frequent spoilage or shrinkage.
