Multiple locations
Overview
SmartFarmPilot supports multiple warehouse locations for tracking inventory. Use separate warehouses for different storage types (cold storage, dry storage) or physical locations (main barn, field shed).

Default Warehouse
One warehouse is marked as the default. This is used when:
- Creating new products without specifying a location
- Recording inventory without selecting a warehouse
- Fulfilling orders when no specific source is selected
You can change the default at any time from the warehouse settings.
Tips for Warehouse Organization
- Separate by storage type: Keep cold storage and dry storage as different warehouses for accurate tracking.
- Use meaningful names: Name warehouses by location or purpose (e.g., "Cold Storage - Building B").
- Set capacity limits: Track capacity to know when you're running out of storage space.
- Review regularly: Audit physical inventory against system records periodically.
